Activate / Stop Survey

How to activate a survey

When groups and questions have been added to your survey, you can activate it.
  1.  Select the Settings tab.
  2.  Click Overview.
  3. Click Activate this survey.  Before activation, a window will be displayed with general survey settings.
  4. Select the option "Continue in open-access mode" to disable closed-access mode
    .  This will allow everyone access to your survey using the survey link.
  5. Once the desired settings have been selected, click Save & activate survey.




If you want to start sharing the survey URL, go to the home page of your survey, and look for the survey URL in the Survey summary section under Share your survey.  Copy the link and start sharing it.

How to stop a survey

If you want to deactivate (stop) the survey:

      1. On the top bar, select Stop this survey.


 2. To stop a survey, you can either "expire" or "deactivate" it. 
We strongly recommend using the expire option to stop (end) a survey.
