Creating your LimeSurvey account
A LimeSurvey account allows you to manage your survey site, account and billing details in one place.
Follow these steps to create your LimeSurvey account:
- Navigate to LimeSurvey.org in your browser.
- Click Get started located in the top right corner.
- Input your username, password, email address and role.
- Click Create account. A confirmation email will be sent to your address.
- Click the link in the email to confirm your account creation.
Once you've created and logged into your account, you'll access your account page at account.limesurvey.org. From there you can manage:
- Account details: Plan type, renewal date and billing
- Your survey site: Survey site URLs, domain alias, reminders, survey site password, delete survey site
- Login details: Login credentials, 2-factor authentication
- General preferences: Time zone, language and GDPR
- ComfortUpdate: Update key data for self-hosted Community Edition installations
Important: The username and password used to set up your LimeSurvey account will also be used to log into your survey site.
Note: Account with multiple users
Be aware that accounts cannot have multiple users at the management level. Only one user account has access to account.limesurvey.org. That primary user can create a survey site and then invite additional users who will only access the survey site itself.
