About canceling

You can cancel a paid plan online at any time up to the last day before it renews. The plan keeps running until the end of the period you paid for, and there is no refund for the rest of the period. After that, your account falls back to the free plan. Your surveys and the responses you collected stay.

Cancel online

1. Log in at account.limesurvey.org.
2. Click your name at the top right and then Billing history.
3. At the bottom of Plan information, click Cancel this plan and confirm.

What happens after you cancel

• Until the end of the paid period, nothing changes. Your remaining responses stay available.
• When the period ends, your account moves to the free plan: 25 responses per month, 10 MB upload storage and 1 administrator. See The free plan.
• Your surveys and all responses you collected stay on your survey site.
• Services of the paid plans stop, for example your domain alias.

Cancel in writing

If you cancel by email or letter instead, we need your cancellation at least two weeks before the end of the subscription period. Online, there is no notice period.

When does my subscription period start?

On the day you buy the plan. It renews automatically on the same day of the next month or year: a monthly plan bought on 23 April renews on 23 May.

Do I get a refund for the rest of the period?

Will I lose my collected responses?

No. They stay on your survey site when your account moves to the free plan.

Can I still use LimeSurvey after I cancel?

Yes, on the free plan. To start a paid plan again, click Upgrade at the top right of your survey site.

I want to delete my survey site or my account, not only cancel.
