Reorder Questions and Question Groups

Overview

To reorganize survey content in LimeSurvey, drag and drop items in the Structure sidebar of the survey editor. The sidebar lists the Welcome screen, your question groups with their questions, and the End screen.

Reorder Questions

In the Structure sidebar, click a question and drag it to its new location. Questions can remain within their current group or move to a different group.

Reorder Groups

In the Structure sidebar, click a group and drag it to the desired position.

Conditions and Reordering

Conditions might prevent a question from being reordered; in such cases, delete or modify the relevant conditions first.

Saving Changes

Changes are saved automatically — a "Saved at HH:MM" indicator at the top right confirms autosave; there is no manual save.
