Copy a survey

LimeSurvey makes it easy to duplicate an existing survey, which is useful when you want to reuse the structure, questions, or settings without starting from scratch. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to copy a survey:

Steps to Copy a Survey


Go to the Survey List

  • From the main dashboard, click on "Surveys" in the top menu. This will take you to the list of all existing surveys.

  • Find the Survey You Want to Copy

  • Locate the survey you wish to duplicate. You can use the search bar if you have many surveys.

  • Click on the three dots at the end and select copy.




  • This can also be achieved by clicking on create a new survey and both options will open the page below.




    Click 'Copy Survey'

  • After configuring your options, click "Copy survey" at the bottom.

  • Done!

  • Your duplicated survey will appear in the survey list. You can now edit it as needed without affecting the original.
