Managing Survey Groups

Survey groups in LimeSurvey help organize and manage related surveys efficiently. This guide explains how to edit survey group settings, update group templates, and filter surveys within a group.
You can switch between survey groups by filtering the group you want to view as shown below.

Step-by-Step: How to Edit a Survey Group

  1. Go to the LimeSurvey Dashboard.
  2. Click Surveys in the main navigation bar, or choose "List Surveys" on the homepage.
  3. Select the Survey group tab.
  4. In the list, find the survey group you want to edit and click the edit (pencil) icon under the Actions column.

Surveys in this group

  1. Displays all surveys that are part of the selected group.
  2. Works as a filter, hiding surveys that don’t belong to the group.
  3. You can now select and edit any of the surveys listed.

This works as a filtering function, filtering out all the surveys not listed in the chosen survey group. You can now select the desired survey and start editing it. To see which survey-editing functionalities are available, check the list surveys section.
