Managing Survey Groups
Survey groups in LimeSurvey help organize and manage related surveys efficiently. This guide explains how to edit survey group settings, update group templates, and filter surveys within a group.
You can switch between survey groups by filtering the group you want to view as shown below.
Step-by-Step: How to Edit a Survey Group
- Go to the LimeSurvey Dashboard.
- Click Surveys in the main navigation bar, or choose "List Surveys" on the homepage.
- Select the Survey group tab.
- In the list, find the survey group you want to edit and click the edit (pencil) icon under the Actions column.
Surveys in this group
- Displays all surveys that are part of the selected group.
- Works as a filter, hiding surveys that don’t belong to the group.
- You can now select and edit any of the surveys listed.

This works as a filtering function, filtering out all the surveys not listed in the chosen survey group. You can now select the desired survey and start editing it. To see which survey-editing functionalities are available, check the
list surveys section.
